It's been a quiet start to the new year in my studio, and I'm so grateful to have my work to help maintain balance in these turbulent times._

So far I’ve completed three new pieces while several more, begun mid to late last year, are still in progress.

A flood in my gallery and storage space early last December has been very disruptive. The restoration should be completed soon though, and fortunately none of my paintings were damaged. The flood was caused by a hot water leak from the furnace and turned the entire gallery into a sauna overnight. The ceiling and walls were dripping wet, and there were several centimetres of water on the floor.

Thankfully my studio is upstairs, so at least my workflow was not completely interrupted with all the chaos.

As I shared recently, my work is now represented locally at Lucky Rabbit Fine Craft in Riverview, NB. It’s a lovely boutique and gallery showing work by local and regional artists. I've included some of the pieces which are part of my current selection there, showing until mid March.

If you have any questions about these pieces, feel free to ask me, or if you’re in the region, pop by the gallery to see them and say hello to Kayla. 👋 ✨

Be kind to each other in these challenging times.

Until next time,

Lynne
